1. 1930s Poosh-M-Up Jr. "4-in-1" Tabletop Pinball Game
Manufactured by the Northwestern Products Co. of St. Louis, MO, this iconic wooden-framed bagatelle game features vibrant, classic cartoon graphics representing four different games in one layout: Baseball, Bagatelle, Put-N-Take, and Colors.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The original glass is intact with no cracks. The wooden frame shows typical light age-related surface wear and a nice patina. The lithographed face remains remarkably bright and vivid.
Mechanics: Includes the metal balls inside the frame and the rear wire easel stand. The spring-loaded plunger moves freely, though it may require standard light lubrication/adjustment for optimal play due to age.
Dimensions: Approximately 17" x 11".
2. May 1944 "Children’s Activities" Magazine
A complete WWII-era issue of Children's Activities for Home and School (Vol. 10, No. 5), published by the Child Training Association in Chicago.
Content: Packed with period-correct illustrations, stories (featuring "Little Brown Bear" by Elizabeth Upham), puzzles, songs, and vintage advertisements (including a prominent full-page back ad for Clapp's Baby Foods).
Condition: Very Good for its age. Tight spine, clean pages with minimal handling wear, and minor corner aging. Features a faint pencil price marking ("10¢") on the front top cover from its original era.
